Wipe down cabinets using a damp rag with a light soap or plain water, as part of your regular cleaning routine. To clean stubborn greasy areas, spray Windex on a cloth and gently rub until the mess is gone. Wipe with water to remove excess Windex. Do not directly spray cleaning solutions onto the cabinetry, and do not use any harsh chemicals or furniture cleaners.

In most cases, soap and water or a mild detergent is all that is required. For stubborn areas, certain non-abrasive cleaners or a mild degreaser can be used, depending on the countertop material. Please call us for more specific solutions if you are unsure of what products to use.

We design and manufacture all of our cabinetry at our locally-owned shop in Niagara-on-the-Lake.

Solid wood is strong with a beautiful natural grain texture. Wood is a living and breathing material. With that come imperfections, such as grain variation and possible movement (expansion/contraction) when temperature and humidity levels change. Solid wood doors are built to allow for this movement and as a result, certain finishes and door styles are not recommended on solid wood doors. Other materials, such as MDF, are recommended in certain applications.

Medium Density Fibreboard (MDF) is a composite material made from recycled wood fibres and resins. It stands up better to changes in heat and humidity. Unlike solid wood, it does not contain any natural wood grains and is used more often for painted cabinetry.

Both materials are excellent choices, depending on your personal preference!

As a small family-owned business, our warranty is quite simple. We strive to ensure our customers are taken care of and that any manufacturing error is dealt with. We offer a lifetime warranty on all hardware, including drawer tracks, hinges, handles, and knobs and a 1-year limited warranty on craftsmanship. Normal wear and tear is not warrantied. Countertop warranties will vary, depending on the manufacturer and fabricator, and customers are encouraged to register their countertops with their manufacturer.
